Mesopotamia Project: The Bibliography

An important part of the Mesopotamia project is the bibliography. A proper bibliography shows what sources you used to find information. It is a way of both giving credit to the author, and to show the reliability of your source material. The bibliography should be a separate page stapled to the back of your written report.

Please use the scoring card to help you organize your sources. Be sure there is one section for print sources and one for electronic sources. Also, you'll want to alphabetize each section. Check out the examples below to see how to format your list.
RSCH:         Methods of Acquiring and Retrieving Knowledge:  Using a Variety of Sources
Strand: Creating a bibliography to cite sources
  • Level 7    Created a proper bibliography by keeping track of both print and electronic sources used, and listing them according to the criteria given in class. Included 4 or more print AND 3 or more electronic sources.
  • Level 6    Created a proper bibliography by keeping track of both print and electronic sources used, and listing them according to the criteria given in class with 3 print, AND 2 electronic sources.
