Could It Be?!

So trying to follow the news about the stupid volcano in Iceland is so crazy because every story seems to say something different. But, it seems like things are moving in the right direction. Hopefully, I'll be out of here on Wednesday as planned, but I'm not sure of that yet.

The Enemy: The Eyjafjallajokull volcano in Iceland continues to erupt today, causing widespread air traffic disruption with its clouds of volcanic ash.
First, I read that a couple of NATO F-16 fighter jets flew through the ash cloud and came back with engine damage because the ash melted into glass and coated the inside parts of their engines.

Then, there's a news flash that Britain will lift the ban on flights starting tomorrow, but only for 50% of the total flights. That means the airports will be nuts all over Europe as five days' worth of angry passengers will be trying to get on a limited number of planes.

And now the airline that I'm supposed to be taking, Lufthansa, has announced it has permission to start flights to Germany, but only for Germans who need to get home. What about teachers who need to get to Greece to have an awesome two-week study trip?

Right now I should be eating some kind of sea creature and looking across my table at this!
