So this isn't exactly a health food, but it sure tastes good. This is enough for about two pounds of pasta.
2 sticks of butter
1 quart of heavy cream
2 cups of grated Parmigiano cheese
1 cup of shredded mozzarella
Salt and Pepper to taste
6-10 basil leaves
Melt the butter in a medium-sized pan over medium heat. Add the cream, cheeses, salt, pepper, and stir gently. Keep stirring until all of the cheese is melted and worked in, but don't boil the sauce. Keep stirring on low until it is thickened a bit (about 10 minutes). Turn off the heat and rip the basil leaves into small pieces into the sauce.
Pour over pasta. Enjoy!
