Update: Mesopotamia Project

Your Mesopotamia civilization project is due on Tuesday, January 24. Please be sure of the following requirements:
  • You must have a bibliography (NoodleBib) that includes 4 print and 3 electronic sources. When you are ready to print it, export it to a word document with your NAME, BLOCK, AND THE DATE on top.
  • You must have your slide show (PowerPoint or Keynote) ready to go. It must be PROOFREAD, ORGANIZED, AND WITH NO ANIMATIONS OR DISTRACTING DESIGNS.
  • You need NOTE CARDS to help you know what to say during your presentation.
  • Remember that you MUST TURN IN ALL OF YOUR NOTES to receive full credit. This includes your signed Mesopotamia project packet.
  • We will work on merging your slide shows into one for your group NEXT WEEK.
You will be working on this OVER THE WEEKEND. Do NOT expect to finish in school only!

Another reminder: TOMORROW is our Mesopotamia test. You will be responsible for the Ancient Map and the Vocabulary.

You will have to label this map like the one from class.

  1. What do we need to label it with?
    Everything that we know?

  2. Do we have to study the vocabulary that's on the map? Or the words that are in the packet?

  3. You need to be able to label the map, given a list of places. Then fill in the blank in sentences about the Mesopotamia vocabulary from your packet.
